Football officials are the country’s most hated profession, in America’s most beloved sport.

In their grueling quest to make it to big-time college football and the NFL, a group of football officials in Southern California weather attacks on the field while trying to balance life off it.

The documentary series follows a diverse group of football officials in Southern California, giving an inside look at their lives Behind The Stripes, and why and how they officiate high school and college football.

The series will also focus on looking at major football officiating decisions that have shaped the conversation about officials. We’ll give inside looks into the 2018 NFC Championship Game, the 2007 Super Bowl, the 2017 Super Bowl and so much more.
